Meet the Founder

Ebony Burnett

Founder & Principal Consultant

Ebony Burnett is a strategic thinker, relationship builder, and experienced leader with more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, education, youth development, and community partnerships.

Throughout her career, Ebony has worked at the intersection of strategy, people, and systems, helping organizations navigate complex challenges, strengthen programs, develop leaders, and turn ambitious ideas into meaningful action.

Her experience spans organizational leadership, executive-level strategy, leadership development, and large-scale initiative planning. She has led multi-site operations, managed significant budgets, coached leaders, and designed and delivered professional learning experiences for audiences nationwide. From developing concepts and content to facilitating conversations and managing execution, Ebony understands how to bring complex initiatives to life.

Ebony brings a broad systems perspective and firsthand experience leading successful operations, developing cross-sector partnerships, and designing and implementing initiatives that bring organizations and communities together around shared goals. Her experience includes leading complex organizational work, building cross-sector strategies, and helping teams navigate challenges, spot opportunities, and turn ideas into action.

She founded Burnett Impact Group on a simple belief: Great ideas are valuable, but meaningful progress begins with knowing how to make them work.

Through BIG, Ebony serves as a strategic thought partner to leaders and organizations seeking fresh perspectives, practical solutions, and a clear path forward.
